Mr. Maha Sagar Lama, Sales and Marketing Director (Korea) of Rising Adventure Pvt. Ltd., comes from the charming district of Sindhupalchowk, Nepal, where one can find popular religious high-altitude trekking sites such as Panch Pokhari and Bhairav Kunda.
Mr. Lama lived in South Korea for 11 years and has gained extensive knowledge of Korean culture, travel tastes and business practices. He is TOPIK 5-level qualified in Korean language skills and can communicate effectively with Korean travelers and partners.
For more than 5 years, Mr. Lama has been working in the trekking industry in Nepal, leading various trekking groups to the popular Himalayan destinations, including Annapurna Base Camp and Mardi Himal. His immense enthusiasm for the mountains and his commitment to the highest standard of service have appealed him to many international guests.
While in South Korea, Mr. Lama was also a church leader, where he developed good relationships with the Korean community as well as good leadership and communication skills. All these experiences have further enhanced his capacity to resonate with fellow travelers and promote Nepal as a world-class adventure destination. Mr. Lama is an important member of the Rising Adventure team who is responsible for the expansion of the company’s presence in the Korean market.
