Jungle Walk

A Jungle walk activity is the most popular activity in the Bardia National Park in Nepal. It is the best way to collect the authentic National Park experience. It is an environment-friendly trip as well because there will happen no artificial work that disturbs the Jungle environment. It is just about to 5 hours trip. This tour is designed mainly for tracking the tigers because there are more tigers in Bardia National Park while comparing to others in Nepal.

The Jungle walk begins early in the morning after having a breakfast because of the high chances of spotting the tigers and other wildlife. During walking, you must follow the rules and regulations of Naturalists like being calm and quiet. You will visit to many spots where the higher possibilities to be the tigers such as riverbanks, shelters, and meadows.

Jeep Safari

Jeep Safari is just like a Jungle Walk. During Safari, you will have a drive into the Jungle whereas you need to walk yourself in Jungle Walk activity.

During the Jeep Safari activity, you will have a drive on an open-topped 4*4 vehicle. It takes you to such places where are the maximum chances of being the tigers. Besides, it is a comfy and an easy activity. But you will have an opportunity to explore the jungle in a deeper way. There are lots of stops for taking rest, relax, and photoshoots. You can even walk around there and gain a short experience of jungle walking.

Besides, you will witness some other wildlife as well. The packed lunch will be provided.

Karnali River Rafting

It is a short and gentle floating down boating rather than the white-water rafting. During excursion, there are many spots where the birds and wild animals come to the rivers for drinking water. You can explore the varieties of wildlife like elephants, rhino, wild boar, deer, and so on. The special thing is that you may encounter the rare water animal called, Dolphin.

Elephant Safari

Elephant Safari in the Bardia National Park is a wonderful trip in Nepal. It is about to 3 hours of journey. Elephant is the largest animal and it takes you to deeper to the jungle where you can not reach by foot. So, this trip increases the chances of seeing more wild animals.

Tharu Cultural Program

A Tharu culture is the most wonderful culture of Nepal. So, you can watch the performance of Tharu and explore their culture through their dance. It is a stick dance, performed by the local Tharu residents of Bardia. They will show other dance performances as well.

Tiger Tracking

It is well known that Bardia National Park is popular for the tiger tracking activity because the highest ratio of tiger lives in the jungle of Bardia National Park. Bardia National Park Tours Detailed Itinerary

Day 1

Fly to Nepalgunj and drive to Bardia

In the morning after having your breakfast, you will have a flight to Nepalgunj. It is almost 55 minutes of flight. After reaching Nepalgunj Airport, you will be picked up by our staff. Then you will have almost two hours of driving to Bardia.

During driving, you will see the green forests and Tharu villages. If you are lucky, you will witness the wild animals including the Bengal Tiger.

Finally, you will check in the hotel. Then, you will take a rest and enjoy the lunch. After then, your visiting tour begins to the nearby typical Tharu village where you will observe the culture and lifestyle of the ethnic Tharu. Then, you will visit to the breeding centers like Elephant and Crocodile, and finally move to sunset point.

At night, you will get the dinner and go to the bed.

Day 2

Go for Jungle Safari

In the morning after having the breakfast, you will go for the Jungle safari. It is a full day Jeep Safari tour in the Bardia National Park in Nepal. This tour is designed for tracking the tiger. So, it is also called a Tiger Tracking Tour. It is a guided tour by Naturalist. You will have a drive into the jungle. You will have a short walk as well for sometimes. You will walk to the bushes nearby the small water holes and hide behind it. Because the Tigers may come there in search of water and food.

You will have a packed lunch.

In the evening after coming back from jungle, you can enjoy the Tharu cultural dance on the ground of the hotel, but it needs to be minimum 8 people to invite the Tharus.

Day 3

Bird Watching and Rafting in the Karnali River

In the morning after having your breakfast, you will engage in the Jungle walk activity with a Naturalist. It is a guided tour for tiger tracking again. But you will see other wildlife as well. So, it is recommended to follow each and every step of guidance. If possible, please follow the clothing style as well.

The pack lunch will be provided. But it is a flexible day tour. So, if you wish, you can come back to the resort for lunch and chill out there.

Day 4

Drive to Nepalgunj and fly back to Kathmandu

In the morning after waking up, you will go for watching the different bird species of Bardia National Park. After bird watching activity, you will have a breakfast and the final departure. So, you will go back to Nepalgunj Airport by retracing the previous roadways and to Kathmandu by aircraft.

Our representative will be waiting you at the Domestic Airport in Kathmandu for picking you up and leave you to the hotel where you are going to stay in Kathmandu.

Essential Information

Best Season

Dry season is the best period to visit Bardia National Park. It comes under October to March months. During this time, the vegetation is thin and the possibility of encountering the wild animals is more. They come out in search of water, grass, and other habitats. So, you can witness them easily.

Besides, the temperature remains moderate during this season. It is neither hotter nor colder.
