Technically challenging, culturally enriching, and scenically stunning, the Himlung Himal Expedition is one of the outstanding choices for mountaineers to level up from trekking to expedition mountains.

Standing at an altitude of 7,126 meters in the Manaslu region, Himlung Himal Expedition combines an isolated trekking and alpine climbing destination. It is a quiet journey with fewer mountaineers compared to other 8000ers. The Himlung Himal Climbing route goes through the hidden valleys of Nar and Phu. So, we can explore the old and authentic, untouched Tibetan-influenced culture. The main income source of this place is Yarsagumba. The trail follows the rugged landscapes with the pristine mountain views.

We can explore the statue of Guru Rinpoche, too, and take a tea break.
Then the uphill trail begins for about 30 minutes and reaches Kyang for Lunch after crossing an iron bridge over the seasonal river. Following the river through the narrow trail and crossing another iron bridge, we will enter the Phu Valley. We can see the old welcome gate made up of stone and soil. And after an hour of walking, we will reach the village.
